Jonah Kelly
Cycling events in France 2019
Jonah's parents took him to France to have a better idea of how he was progressing in the sport. Jonah took part in two events.
The first event was The Langoelan Classic where Jonah came third place. Well done Jonah!!!
Jonah then took part in the Plumelian Classisic where he came second place. Well done again!!!!
His parents were delighted with his performance.
Jonah is training at home now on both track and road, with the hope of competing locally, regionally and internationally next year.
Luke McIntyre Caifta Champion
The third Annual Carita Triathlon Championships August 2019. Luke McIntyre of St. Gabriel's School represented Barbados at the Caribbean's premier Triathlon event and won both the Triathlon and Aquathlon in the 11-12 age group.

KIDS BEACH WRESTLING
The Barbados Wrestling Association held its 3rd edition of the Barbados Beach Wrestling International Cup in the Barbados Olympic Association Invitational Independence Games (BiiG) at the Pirates Beach on November 4, 2018.
The Beach cup attracted athletes from St Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, Haiti, USA, Bolivia, Cuba and host Barbados.
Some of our students participated in the fun sumo event (push your opponent out of the noodle circle) and did extremely well in the various age categories. Medals were presented by the Japanese Ambassador to Barbados.

JAMIACA RUGBY TEAM VISIT
The Jamaican National Rugby team visited our school today and gave a wonderful and entertaining 45 minute introduction to Rugby. The group comprised of both the Female and Male teams, with a total of over 20 visitors. Both Junior and infants departments participated in the various activities including mini-games, passing and catching. The team is in Barbados for the Pan American Qualifier starting Saturday 22 September.

After 25 years of dedication, love and commitment Margaret Williams finally said goodbye to a her career as both Music and Class teacher of St. Gabriel's School.

Christopher Whitehead School

Visiting school from England on Netball tour in Barbados.

Christopher Whitehead's School's Netball team toured St. Gabriel's school for the second time in two years. The team from England played four rounds of friendly matches. The first two rounds was girls vs each other and in the last two the team's were mixed. Our girls used this opportunity to prepare for the National Primary School's Netball competition which is in term 3. There was a gift exchange at the end.
